How we score CS2 marketplace trust
Every platform in our directory gets a 0–100 Trust Score. It's a weighted composite of five signals we track manually and, where possible, automatically. The formula is public and re-computed daily.
The formula
score = 100 × ( 0.30 × uptime + 0.25 × user_reviews_avg + 0.20 × (1 − fee_normalized) + 0.15 × payout_speed + 0.10 × safety )
- Uptime (30%) — 30-day availability of the platform's public site, sampled every 5 minutes.
- User reviews (25%) — aggregated star rating from Trustpilot, Reddit and SKIN.gg on-page reviews.
- Fee (20%) — effective seller fee. Lower fee = higher score. A 0% fee scores 1.0; a 20% fee scores 0.0.
- Payout speed (15%) — instant payouts score 1.0; delayed (1–3 days) score 0.55.
- Safety (10%) — a proxy blending years operating and total review volume — older, higher-volume platforms rank safer.

Why publish the formula?
Because "trust score" is meaningless if you can't audit it. Ours is deterministic — same inputs, same score. If you spot data we've got wrong on a platform, email hello@skin.gg and we'll re-check within a week.
